Access 1 helps you connect to individual mental health services in Northern Toronto and Scarborough. If you live East of Islington Avenue, West of Victoria Park Avenue, South of Steeles Avenue and North of Eglinton (northern Toronto) or in the boundaries of Scarbrough, and are interested in individual support services, please contact Access 1.
How does it work?
The Access 1 office process your application for case management or assertive community treatment teams in Northern Toronto or Scarborough. Once you've sent in your application, you will be contacted to discuss if you are eligible for services. If you are, your application will be placed on a waitlist. Access 1 follows your application until you are connected with a service provider.
Who is eligible for Access 1?
Access 1 provides coordinated access to mental health case management and assertive community treatment teams to individuals:
- 16 years of age and older,
- having mental health problems that are seriously affecting their lives, and
- live in North York or Scarborough
Which organizations can I apply to with the Access 1 application form?

North York: Arabic, Assyrian, Creole, Darsi, English, Farsi, French, Hebrew, Hindi, Italian, Polish, Portugese, Punjabi, Russian, , Sinhalese, Spanish, Somali, Tamil, Twi, Ukranian, Urdu
Scarborough: Afghan, English, Serbo-Croatian, Somali and Tamil
